The Ultimate Office project is one of the most fun projects we've worked on because we're a bunch of office supply junkies and organization fanatics who had a great time exploring the products and learning about the business. Like kids with a new toy, we started the project not just with a conversation but with a show-and-tell. Craig Nelson, owner of Ultimate Office, was more than happy to show us the nuances of his unique products and share his enthusiasm with us. For weeks, we poked and prodded, tinkered and tested, and ultimately came up with a plan to spread the organizing fever.
But before we could get into the marketing, we first needed to work with Ultimate Office on their rebrand and relaunch. It was an exciting time as we collaborated with their internal creative staff on a logo and color palate, and consulted with their developers to produce a user-friendly website. It was a massive team effort that started and ended with lots of coffee and donuts, and resulted in the successful launch of the site.
Our activities with Ultimate Office can best be summed up as “a little bit of everything”. We've written and designed email campaigns, consulted on URL naming conventions and website hierarchy, written for catalogs, produced technical and analytics reports and actionable metrics... but the heart and soul of our marketing plan has been a search and social media program.
We designed, implemented and now manage a Facebook fan page and Twitter account where we engage like-minded enthusiasts and share insider information about the goings-on at Ultimate Office. We manage and create content for a blog that offers tips, tricks and product news. We keep in touch with customers and what they think, want and need. We manage AdWords campaigns along with regular monitoring of organic search listings. And most importantly, we tie all of these things together into a cohesive strategy with measurable analytics so that we can adapt to the changing needs of the business and the customers who support it. Our job at Ultimate Office isn't done. In many ways it's just started, and we're enjoying working with them to help the world get organized… one office at a time.
A word from our customer...
I’ve worked closely with Carol Lynn and Ralph throughout the rebrand and relaunch of Ultimate Office. They are enthusiastic and always willing to go the extra mile to brainstorm, plan and make ideas happen. Everyone on our team values their expertise and input. They’ve proven their commitment to making Ultimate Office a success and I’m looking forward to many more years of enjoying both the professional and personal relationship we’ve developed.
